Meet Dr. Rodney Klima

For more than three decades, Dr. Rodney Klima dedicated his career to creating healthy, confident smiles for patients throughout Northern Virginia. Throughout his years in practice, he believed orthodontic treatment could do far more than straighten teeth—it could improve facial appearance, build confidence, and positively impact a person’s life. His commitment to exceptional patient care and lasting relationships helped establish Burke Family Orthodontics as a trusted part of the community.

Before opening his private practice in Burke, Virginia, Dr. Klima served as an orthodontist in the United States military. After returning to Virginia, he became a civilian consultant to the cleft palate team at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where he helped care for patients with complex orthodontic needs. Throughout his career, he treated both children and adults using the latest orthodontic techniques, including Invisalign®. He always focused on personalized treatment and achieving the best possible outcome for every patient.

Throughout his career, Dr. Klima was recognized by his peers as one of Northern Virginia’s top orthodontists, earning repeated recognition in the Washingtonian, Northern Virginia Magazine, Virginia Living, and Consumers’ Checkbook.

Today, Dr. Klima serves as a consultant for Burke Family Orthodontics, where he continues to share his knowledge and experience with the doctors and team. His commitment to exceptional orthodontic care and the values on which the practice was built remain at the heart of the practice.
